Day 13: The Cost of Love

Scripture: John 15:13 - "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends."

Reflection: Love often requires sacrifice.

Application: Make a small sacrifice for someone you love today.

Prayer: Jesus, help me to love sacrificially as You did. Amen.

Now, loving like this isn’t cheap. It costs time, comfort, and often, cold hard cash. But think of it as investing in the currency of the Kingdom. Every act of love is a deposit into eternal accounts. Sure, it might mean sacrificing a Saturday to help a friend move or dipping into your vacation fund to support a family in need. But here’s the kicker: the return on investment is out of this world. You can't out-give God, and when you give love, you're lining up with the very heartbeat of the Almighty.
